To ensure that the valuable instrument is treated as optimally as possible, Fender has come up with something and released the Fender The Arch Guitarworkstation. This is a three-piece set, the centerpiece of which is the guitar neck holder

What is behind Fender The Arch?

The name The Arch is a reminiscence of the time-honored arch to the west The Gateway Arch which stands in St. Louis in the USA. Since I personally lived in St.Louis for some time, this fact probably influenced my purchase decision a little bit.

Three Elements

The bag

The material of the small black bag is synthetic leather. There is a zipper and the whole thing is black. Qualitatively, the bag makes quite a decent impression. It is not a high-quality handbag, but can rather be compared with a mini toilet bag. Nevertheless, the guitarist gets the opportunity to store all sorts of odds and ends there. Examples are strings, picks, capo, bottlenecks, a small multitool, some cleaning agent or a cloth.

The tub

The second element is a small rubber tub. You can either use this as a base for the guitar neck holder or as a tray. I find the storage function very clever. For example, if a few screws need to be loosened, they can be placed in the tray. So you no longer lose small parts. Alternatively, it could be used as a residual waste bin.

The guitar neck holder

The centerpiece is clearly the guitar neck holder. And this one clearly reminds of the famous architectural model without the substructure of bag and tub. Long live St.Louis!
The neck holder is made of plastic. Therefore, you should not lean too heavily on the Fender The Arch. Also, too much pressure should be avoided.
Personally I think that the support surface is a bit too narrow. There is a risk that the guitar slips out of the holder and then crashes on the table.

Conclusion

The Fender The Arch Guitarworkstation offers a compact and safe solution for guitar repair or care. Fender offers an affordable accessory here that is lightweight, compact and flexible. There are drawbacks in the quality of the guitar holder. In addition, I personally find the support surface too narrow, or too steep. The price/performance ratio is excellent.
